  2. Check if your VGM request has been correctly logged into our systems;
  3. Check if containers have been finally weighed and then print out the Web Bindello.
Report is available in the section Report -> Terminal SCT Reports and it's labeled as WEB Verifica VGM.

New trucks at Salerno Container Terminal

We are proud to inform you that, starting from August 2020, Salerno Container Terminal spa is also acting as a reliable Trucking Company.

As first stage of a mid' term investment plan, five last generation trucks with telescopic trailers, have been purchased and are currently on the road bringing around your cargo!

We strongly believe that technology can boost any operational process and that's the reason we have developed an internal web platform to manage your shipments and avoid any time loss.

Our web platform can track shipments in real time and also allows to deliver, via a dedicated smartphone app, all the needed informations/documents to our drivers.

Ask for further informations about this new activity, dropping a message here!

VGM submission from shippers

We already informed here that shippers can now enquiry for their export cargo via the Web Portal regardless by the container owner.

Now shippers can also comply with SOLAS regulation by registering, via the web, the following data:
  • Weight Certified Data;
  • Weight Certifying Authority;
  • Weight Certifying Person.
VGM data can be registered even if cargo is not in Terminal yet avoiding you any time loss: your request will be put in hold and will be automatically applied as soon as the cargo is received.

Let's claim for your free Web Portal account underwriting here.

New partnership with TradeLens

We are more than happy to share that Salerno Container Terminal spa is currently working with TradeLens, a logistic platform developed by A.P. Moller - Maersk and IBM powered by blockchain technology.

Salerno Container Terminal spa is currently sharing all tracking data to the platform which provides members of the Maersk Group with greater transparency of cargo handled in our Terminal.

We are really excited to join this project and to feed, with our operational processes, a data set exposed to the whole world!
