We are glad to inform you that, in order to improve VGM processes, we are going to switch from two weighbridges (one allocated to the Gate-In point, one allocated to the Gate-Out point) to four reachstackes equipped with weighing devices approved as per OIML R51 and MID 2014/32/UE2014/32/EU.
Weighing devices will allow reachstacker to hydraulically measure the weight of a lifted container with 1% full scale accuracy in less than 5 seconds.
Following the switch, trucks will be able to run the Gate-In process through any available Gate-In lane reducing waiting time and improving the reliability of our processes.
Weighing devices will be connected to our TOS and you will continue to print out bindello via the Web Portal.
Switch is planned for mid July: here below the new process for the retrieval and the spread of the VGM data to all the affected parties.
